Website Building for Massage Therapists

(or other Health Service Business)

Website Building is an essential skill that is required for building a successful massage business.  Your massage business website needs to show up on the first spot on the first page of Google and all of the search engines. When people type in 'massage your city' your site needs to be on the top of the page of results for all of the major search engines. When it does you will be attracting people who are already looking for massage!  The constant challenge of getting clients is already half over!  Once you get your website there, then the goal is to get people to click on the listing and call for the appointment.

Massage Business  Website!

(I am cheap!)

The way that is done is by having the right words in your listing first of all so that people will click on it.  That is done by using a specific code in your webpage.  After people click on your site, they want to know "What is in it for me?".  They usually want to know if you will be able to handle whatever condition they have or problem that they have that made them start looking for a massage therapist in the first place.  It is usually some form of stress or pain.

Since people just searching for a massage therapist won't know you - the next goal is to build trust with your potential clients.

You can't really do that in a simple 8 page website that just talks about your rates, services and locations.  What makes the difference in getting people to trust you is writing more about massage, what massage does, how massage works and putting what you learned in massage school and working with clients into writing.  You don't have to be a writer but just be able to put down in words the things that you should be talking to clients about anyway.   Putting these things into a website will also help you in talking with people - potential clients and current clients.

Getting your site to the top of the search engine results and getting the client to call and become a regular weekly client is what (SBI!) the webhost and business building system that I use and recommend, is all about. (See my clinic site www.massageseattle.net.)  I have the basic process of creating a website outlined so that you can see what is involved.

It is all done by understanding how to use keywords and how keywords make the internet do what it does best- find information.  It is about learning how to pre-sell or build trust with clients. It is learning what to say on your pages and learn to write for the client or potential client.

When you use or hire SBI! you get all that and more.

You can do it all yourself - step by step and follow their written and video action guide.  It begins with keyword research to choose the best domain name and to plan and build your website.  If you choose to do it all yourself, yes there will be a learning curve but if you stay with it you will soon be saying "Sorry I am booked for 3 months".  Anyone can do it if you just have patience and the desire for more clients.  These clients will also - like I said before -will be more likely to be your ideal clients - the one's who value massage and will most likely to be regular weekly or monthly clients.  SiteSell Services

When you purchase an SBI! website through one of these links on this page - send me an email so I can send you my Massage Therapists Guide to Using SBI! to help you get started even faster!

Oh, and they will show you how to use your website to make extra income with your website.  I even have gone on to develop other sites on massage and only work doing massage 2 days a week and supplement my income just from my creation and writing on these other sites.

So Let me know if you have any questions, comments or feedback!

www.thebodyworker.com - My first website using the principles of SBI! It is just most of the info I learned in massage school that I turned into a website.  Little did I know it would be making me $1000 a month.
www.massage-career-guides.com - A site I started to help people who were thinking about becoming a massage therapist and providing a resource to rate and review massage schools- still in progress because I just started it to replace a site that I sold for enough to live on for a year.
www.guidetomakingwebsites.com - Just started to share my knowledge on making websites and to help people create multiple streams of income so that they can survive in any economy
www.massageseattle.net - My clinic website
www.massagepracticebuilder.com - Everything you need to know about building a massage practice created using WordPress after learning how keywords and optimization work through SBI.
