The Law of Attraction
The Law of Attraction is the theory that like attracts like. What we
think about we will create is another way of saying it.
Our feelings and thoughts are vibrations that attract similar thoughts and
feelings. When we think the thought "I want to get out of debt" we are
focusing on the debt so we get more of it.
How are thoughts create our reality is nothing new. Many have been
saying that as outlined in my history of the secret.
The problem is that most of our thoughts are unconscious. We have
developed ways of processing information that allows us to process what we see
in less than seconds of time. The way we do this is by the programming
that is already in our brain and neural network.
As kids we were taught ways of being by our parents, families and schools
(mostly unconsciously). When people gave us feedback about who we are, we
believed it because we didn't know any better. Our unconscious mind
processed everything we see and makes a judgment about whether something is
perceived as good or bad. We don't take the time to really investigate
everything that someone says or does because it would just take us forever.
But these unconscious ways of beings get stored as beliefs. These are
the core beliefs- things such as "we are not good enough" , "we are worthless",
we don't deserve anything...those types of thoughts are what drive the
unconscious programming.
So if our thoughts are unconscious, how do we begin to uncover them?
Your feelings are what tell you what you are thinking. Your feelings are
your internal guidance system that will tell you when you are on track of
creating what you want/desire. On a core level we all are good and
deserving. When we get feelings that are negative it is showing us that
what we are thinking is not in tune with that core virtue. Most often you
won't even be able to tell what the exact thought is as thoughts happen so fast.
What you can do is change your thinking and control your thinking so that you
create better feelings!
