Excess = shi Deficiency = Xu Yin xu = dryness, irritation, itching, thirst, skinny Yang xu = no energy, indecisiveness, always cold Yin shi = damp, swollen, overweight, habits Yang shi = violent, agitated, hot, workaholic Yin/Yang xu = severe qi deficiency causing infertility, chronic fatigue syndrome, lethargy Darkness =Yin Light = Yang Coolness = Yin Expansion= yang passivity = yin Activity= Yang Back of the body = Yin Front of the body = Yang Inside of the body = Yin Outside of the body = Yang Lower Body = Yin Upper body = Yang The six yin meridians are the pericardium, Liver, Kidney, Heart, Spleen and Lung channels. The yin meridians are associated with the parasympathetic nervous system. The yin meridians are associated with the solid organs. Yang energy moves up. Yang energy moves outward The six yang meridians are the Triple Heater, Gallbladder, Bladder, Small Intestine, Stomach and Large Intestine
