Medical Massage Guides

Medical massage or massage geared towards treating injuries and working in the medical field with doctors referrals and insurance companies is a confusing term.  Since there is no clear definition of medical massage, I am referring to it as just the ability to work with an injury, disease or condition using whatever massage technique you know.

Some are calling medical massage a specific technique or method or training that needs to be done in order to do massage on a client.  While more training can be helpful it hasn't been proven to be necessary.

Most anyone can learn about a disease or condition and study it in depth and learn to work with it using whatever techniques or massage skills that they have.

Here are some guides to conditions for starting your path of finding out more about medical massage.  The information also can be used on your websites (with a link back to this site) to help educate clients about massage and it's many uses.
