Some questions to ask the state
labor board:

process?
·
Do I need to work at a doctor’s office? Does my work have to be
supervised by a doctor?
·
Do I need a referral/prescription?
·
Do I need an authorization code? Do I need authorization?
·
What CPT codes can I bill for? How many units?
·
How many sessions are allowed? Can this be renewed?
·
What is the process for billing? Is there a manual available?
·
Do I need to send chart notes and the prescription with the
bill?
·
Is there a fee schedule?
Most labor
boards have provider fee schedules and service manuals available so that you can
learn how to bill them properly.
The Labor &
Industries and Workers Compensation
Divisions are usually not up to date with
