You can also use your website to send out a regular newsletter for potential and current clients.  SBI comes with a newsletter tool that keeps track of subscribing and unsubscribing.  You can use the newsletter to keep in regular contact with potential clients and build further trust to get them to make the call.  You can talk regularly about the specifics of massage – like how to deal with back pain, health tips and send regular notices of specials or holiday gift certificates.  You can even sell gift certificates online by starting an account with Paypal and building a simple buy now link.  The money is deposited into your paypal account and you can track all of the transactions and withdraw the money and move to your own business account at any time.

I use a Yahoo!Group for sending out my newsletter.  I started when it was egroups or something like that and there weren’t any other newsletter management services.  Now there are many different services.

Blogging is another interactive tool for you to use to provide information.  SBI comes with its own blogging system but it

 currently doesn’t let anyone else post.  The purpose of the SBI

 bloglet is to again just send out announcements, news or information.  The reason blogging works is that it gets more people coming back regularly to your site.  People sign up to receive a notification of when you publish something.  This gets around the regular email newsletter method which usually looses a lot of emails to spam filters.  With blogging the reader totally controls the experience of what they read and when. 

With EZ Webhosting you can set up your own blogging software with the click of a few buttons.  It takes a little bit of playing with to learn the administration control panel, but once you get it set up you can just blog.  I tried a few different ones before settling on the Word Press one at www.thebodyworker.com.
